I can look at the printer online but it will not locate it in setup no matter what I do
When you say that you cannot locate the iR3225 in the setup, do you mean that the printer does not appear in the Default view of Add Printer? If this is what you mean then this is correct. The iR3225 does not support a broadcasting protocol like Bonjour so to add this printer, and just about all mageRUNNER that are using their internal Canon printer board, you need to select the IP icon in the Add Printer browser and then select the LPD protocol. You then enter the IP address of the iR for the hostname, leave the queue name blank, change the name to something other than the IP address and for the Print Using menu, select the iR3225.
